Employee of the Year 2025: Melchior Pace Honoured at Vivian’s Christmas Celebration
At Vivian’s annual Christmas celebration, Melchior Pace was named Employee of the Year; the company’s most coveted award and an honour that, by his own admission, took a few seconds to fully sink in.
“We were all enjoying the evening when I suddenly heard my name being called. For a moment, it did not register. I know my work is appreciated, but when you receive such an award, everything seems to fall into place,” Melchior reflected.
Melchior had been part of Vivian for the past seventeen years, leading the company’s technical division responsible for the supply and servicing of laboratory equipment and medical devices.
As market demand shifted towards more advanced and integrated medical solutions, his leadership played a key role in strengthening Vivian’s focus on medical technology, culminating in the rebranding of the division as MediTech.
“This move has now opened up new opportunities to expand our service offering into the biomedical segment, an area with strong potential and one that will once again allow us to grow, learn, and ultimately provide a more complete service to our clients. Most importantly, it will help attract more new business to the company.”
Melchior adds, “Vivian has given me a great deal of satisfaction over the years. I love what I do but knowing that your work is truly recognised and appreciated is the greatest reward one can aspire to.”
