Another addition to Vivian Corporation`s ever growing wellbeing portfolio is Allergan`s Juvederm® VOLITE which was launched on Friday 21st April during a seminar for med aesthetic doctors which also included a live workshop at The Clubhouse, Gianpula.
Juvederm® VOLITE is the first injectable treatment designed to improve skin quality for up to nine months with just one treatment session. Using a patented VYCROSS® technology, Juvederm VOLITE® aims to improve skin smoothness (absence of fine lines), hydration and elasticity.
Dr. Dimitris Sykianakis, Medical Trainer and Juvederm® VOLITE advisory board member, discussed the details of what skin quality really means and how Juvederm® VOLITE can improve the skin and really make it glow. Dimitris Vrachnos, Business Consultant specialised in the medical aesthetics field, gave some insights about what consumers look out for when talking about good skin including tips on patient consultation. A live injection demonstration gave the audience the opportunity to learn first hand how to inject Juvederm® VOLITE in the face, neck, décolletage and hands.
Global research shows that skin quality is a growing concern for women – 56% of women say the appearance of their skin contributes to their outer beauty. The launch of Juvederm® VOLITE offers a treatment designed to last up to 9 months, taking away the need for multiple treatments.
Allergan Malta Country Lead, Katrine Agius commented that Juvederm® VOLITE will now be available throughout all leading Med Aesthetic clinics on the island.
Juvederm® VOLITE: How it works
Juvederm® VOLITE (containing hyaluronic acid) is injected within the dermis which is a layer of soft tissue below the epidermis. The product can be used to treat the face, neck, décolletage and hands and contains the anaesthetic lidocaine, to make the treatment as comfortable as possible. During a thorough consultation, the aesthetic practitioner will discuss and determine the amount of product required to achieve the patient`s desired results.
